Hello
I need some SIMPLE guidance in constructing a pair of acoustic panels for side-walls (early reflection points); size should be 2' x 4', thickness 4" max. I emphasize that I need simple principles, because, for instance, I just don't understand J. Risch's instructions. English is not my first language, maybe this is the problem - I read it tens of times, and I just didn't get it (and even if I did, it seems too elaborate and time-consuming for me).
Anyway, I'm planning to use plain fiberglass boards (covered with poly batting) in wooden frames, so here is my basic question: how dense the fiberglass should be for given thickness (4")? Should i go with 3 pcf or 6 pcf density (OC 703 or 705) ? Or should I make some combination with one 1" OC 703 towards the room and one 1" OC 705 towards the wall ?
