As many of you may know, Oyaide makes AC receptacles and AC plugs custom made for audio use. I just received their SWO-XXX receptacle and P-079 AC male plug. These products have been sent through a deep cryogenic treatment and are made of polished Phosphor bronze and are plated with 24K gold and then another plating of palladium for the SWO-XXX and 24K gold for the P-079.
Attaching the P-079 to my Platinum Power PP-1 AC line balancer and installing the SWO-XXX has made an immense "musical" improvement to my system. See inmates systems for details.
The main attribute of the combo is a lowering of the noise floor that is hard to imagine. This yields a substantial improvement in soundstaging on low level detail retrieval. Even the musical momentum is improved.
I urge those that are interested and have an open mind to check these products out. They are nothing short of amazing and will bring musical rewards that have heretofore gone hidden.
Will update further as time rolls on but so far, this is the best $200 one could spend on his/her system that yields this big of bang for the buck!! Absolutely amazing.
