I plan on ordering some room treatment soon. My room is basically a 27'x 14' rectangle except for two support columns about 18 feet from the front wall. The columns come out about 2.5 feet into the room on each side and are a little over 1 foot in length. The entire room, including the columns, is concrete. So what I'm wondering is would the front of these columns where they meet the sidewalls benefit from the same bass trap treatment as a regular front or back room corner or would sound panels be better. Thanks.
