Scheduled a preamp mod by phone. Advised to wait one month until shipping. Did that; shipped 2-day FedEx @$52. No contact that the unit arrived, until I inquired.
After that, I was promised a contact in 3 days for the steps to be taken after they audition the unit. 3 weeks of silence since. The unit has been gone for 4 weeks now (having been promised a 2-week turnaround) with a silent system as a result.
I'll give a whole lot of slack to one-man operations, but... don't promise what you can't deliver. And, from a business perspective, do you not get the idea of *growing the business? If you have weeks and weeks of backlog, isn't it time to hire some help? And I do understand that taking on just one employee is a huge financial/time investment, but...either you're in business, or not.
Any recent experiences appreciated.
