Robert-- Again, I'm with this 100%. As with any auction of any kind, you have to know your sh*& or you are primed for a misfire. I'm surprised by the facts in this; $25 is astronomical for Tesla 12AU7, and is there really anyone who would be tipped into a high bid by some gold pins?!? This looks more like one of the rare straight-up auctions by this guy, with an uneducated buyer or one with an axe to grind regarding bugleman, or the "horrendous risks and pitfalls" of buying tubes on ebay or from anyone else w/o a fancy website. Hmmm.... Chris
