Tubes Asylum Questions about tubes and gear that glows. FAQ |
|
Looking for tube amplification for my bedroom system. I've only got around $600 so this greatly limit's my options. Speakers will be my Fried A/6's. [89-90db?] The bedroom system hardly ever plays loud so I really don't need a lot of watts. I need the amp now so that kind of lets Bottlehead out. [couple of month lead time for Bottlehead amps] I'm thinking my only options might be ASL Waves with one of my SS preamps, the ASL 15 watt integrated [can't remember the model number but it retails for $599] of the 20 watt Jolida integrated. I had a 60 watt Jolida at one time and was never that impressed with it. Are there any other options at my limited budget? There is no ASL dealer near me so I would have to purchase on word of mouth only. Thanks for pointing to something I may be overlooking.
