"I have a set of the Sv 6550's and the Ei kt-90's which are used in 100W monos. "I think the mid-band is what people buy the KT90 for. I don't know what kind of 100w monos you have, so your mileage may vary. I have to say that the Svetlana 6550C is a great tube from a great company. The thing I like most about the KT90 is the presentation of voices(I don't pay as much attention to bass personally). I have used them in D115's, but didn't have any e-mails I could find to give you feedback. I have an e-mail from a M300 owner, if this is helpful.

outputs 150wpc in triode mode). To put it lightly these tubes made my amps sing like they have never sung before!! The sound of these KT-90's is much brighter and much more refined than that of the previous tubes in these monoblocks (Sovtec 6550B's).""The sound of these two comparable tubes was amazingly differant. These KT-90 tubes made not only opera singers sound like they are in my family room, but even enhanced the sound of rock music (including the Beatles).
