In the concert hall it would be possible to carry on a quiet conversation over the music most of the time, in theory. One would be ejected quite quickly if this was made a habit!!

Therefore 70dB to 100dB is ENOUGH!!!!

We DO want the use of our hearing into our dotage, don't we?

This sort of discussion gives me to wonder how many 'golden ears' out there may already be deaf, partly.
