Tubes Asylum Questions about tubes and gear that glows. FAQ |

This may not be the right board for this, but I found an old Zenith table radio. It has the following Tubes: 12AX7A, 50C5(2), 19EA8, 19GQ7, 12AU6. I assume the 12AX7A is the output tube? The rear panel says 60 watts, .6 amps. The Transformer is about 2.5" x 3" x 3". Is there anyway to estimate what the output power is? The reason is the radio has a hookup on the rear for an additional speaker, and phono inputs. If the power is enough, I would like to bypass the original speaker inside and be able to hookup 2 of my own speakers. Thanks in advance.
