Tubes Asylum Questions about tubes and gear that glows. FAQ |
|
I've been encouraged by new production Russian tubes - very good batches of 6N1P and good but inconsistent 6N30Ps (one in four out of spec or dud). I'm wondering about the 6N3P, after hearing good things about the 5670 (good treble, arguably better sounding in some circuits than 6N1P). Can anyone report on this tube? It has an unusual base, so I don't anticipate many users, but I'd be grateful for opinions on NOS 5670 as well as new 6N3P.
