Maybe Mart should buy something with 811 triodes in it.Designed for amateur radio use it has a slew rate in excess of 1200V/usec.The Altec 1570B uses one pair to put out 170 watts.The thoriated tungsten filaments look pretty cool in the dark too.Not bad for a tube you can buy NOS for $12.
