what's the best configuration & why.If I'm forced to order an amp deafly, I want to nail down some irrepressible facts. I'm continually learning the hard way that my tastes do not fit the constituative mold, as the items I desire are quickly deemed obsolete for more popular inadequate designs. But they are usually measurably different by Physical design. Thus, if I find a truly superior design, IMHO, time must be of the essence. Because its total shelf life will be measured in months.
Why do they build hybrids whose majority consist of a tube in & SS out. Apparently, to reduce (interconnects & speaker) cable dependancy as well as (Z & back EMF) driver issues.
What still bugs me is matching a current-source & a voltage-source in the same circuit. Thoughts of tank-circuits w/PLLs in the biasing & low-Z signal bleeding from both devices sounds quite non-linear. But, I'm sure this is very design sensitive.
