Went to vacuumtubes.net on home page and clicked on NOS AUDIO TUBES at top of page. I ordered two RCA 5V4G tubes. Paid the $20 each. That is new tube price. I received one tube with darkened glass (highly used) and both tubes had a shiny dot above the two filaments on the glass. New tubes are clear glass above the filaments. The tubes arrived in white generic boxes with a hand written 5V4G in an ink pen. The tube bases looked dull & beat up.
I been ordering from them for years. This never happened. I am sending the tubes back at a $7 shipping loss for refund.
