I'm looking to lay in a backup set of tubes for my 2A3 monos. Each amp has the following tube complement: 1-2A3, 1-6C45Pi, and 2-6DM4A.

I had thought to see if I could get some JJ 2A3-40s, and the 6C45Pi tubes all seem to be Sovteks. These both seem to be readily available, but I've been having difficulty locating 6DM4A tubes. Larry had mentioned the 6AX4 as a direct replacement. Is it likely to be worthwhile seeking out specific tubes on these, or is it pretty much catch as catch can?
