RE: Warmest sounding 5670/396A/2C51 variant?

I would agree with the WE 396A based on my experience using it in a Mhdt Paradisea DAC about ten years ago and comparing it to a Bendix 2C51 and a GE Five Star 5670. In that aplication I found the WE tube to have a very robust, full bodied sound in the mid range and upper bass. For the record, in that DAC I found the Bendix 2C51 to have the better balanced sound with superior imaging and soundstage.
