RE: Current KT88 with least bass bloat


I would not blame your KT120s. May not help that much by swapping out for KT88s. Would suggest you determine who's (what mfgr's) coupling caps are being used.

To add more of that organic type sound, solder in a set of Jupiter copper foil caps. They are so good, I am using them now on SS gear too.
