Some info from the restorer person :)
"Beautifully redone with a handcrafted enameled wooden surround. The chassis top is refinished in a classy antique white enamel with teal transformers and a red name badge to really give it that 1950's danish modern appearance. Also this amplifier has been fully serviced with the following upgrades and tests: A full recap in both the power supply and coupling stages, A line fuse was added for protection and safety, Gold binding posts and RCA jacks for superb signal transfer, and a hand made bottom cover with classy gold feet, and a on/off power switch. All resistors were measured and tested within their tolerances. All tubes tested strong on a B&K 707 Dyna Jet tube checker.This amplifier is plug and play, and ready for any pre-amp of your choice. This amplifier is a real asset to any Hi-Fi system (in sound and appearance!) Tested with a Eico HF-85 stereo pre-amp and JBL C-38 speakers this amplifier was simply amazing! with warm smooth lows, crisp clear highs, great imaging and depth for a excellent full sound stage"
and more when I asked him about using a 5AR4..."There actually is four filter caps and there values are as follows:
68uf 450VDC
47uf 450VDC
22uf 450VDC
10uf 450VDC"
So he says they will be fine to run the 5AR4....here is a pic of the inside...scroll to the 4th pic I believe...
