A short answer is Yes- and No
Yes - same octal base and the heater is similar-
but no in that the bias voltages etc. are different-
From what you have said - warmer & more dynamic - I am not sure that changing tubes will get that-
the OPT is the limit for power - and having a tube with a higher dissipation/capacity will not change that-
If you want more dymanics- get more power-
warmer - try different cables? what is your source & speakers?
this amp may not be your best option...
