was to rig up a clothes dryer exhaust tube on her Sherwood S5000. She has washer and dryer hookup, but goes to the club center where they have laundry machines.
What she did was install two boxer fans out of phase with each other, one at each end of the dryer exhaust tube. She then put the exhaust tube over the output tube section of the Sherwood, and then the other end to output exhaust hole where the dryer would hook up..She rigged up two rheostats, one on each fan so she could control the speed of them. The fan up by the tubes is pulling the heat away from the output tubes and the fan at the opposite end is blowing the heat out thru the dryer exhaust port. She was literally able to drop the temperature in the area the amp sits in by 14.2 degrees F and she said it is noticeable. You can go outside of her townhouse and put your hand by the exhaust port and feel the warm air blowing out. The only inconvenience is that the amp has to sit in the utility room along with her TT,CD player, and Ipad. The AR-LSTs sit in her living room.
