Yes, that is true, but at least it does provide some improvement in the situation. One aspect of the shock potential is that since he is planning to have up to 300 speakers in series or series parallel, the voltage across any one speaker would be rather low. For the end speakers there would indeed be a significant potential difference. If B Plus were there as well, the shock hazard would be greater. There would still be some DC potential there, but less than the case of applying 300-400VDC plus the AC signals.

Someone suggested installing the amplifier circuitry in the same cabinet as the speakers. This could create issues with microphonics and bring about some interesting new sounds.
