Questions about tubes and gear that glows. FAQ

Are those 'used' 'NOS' Rusky tube?

Who thought they would live to the day when a late 20th Century Russian tube would be considered NOS.

That said, I bought a Quad of then-new Tesla KT-88 (branded as KRON) back about year 2000 and it was really two matched pair and by matched they were certainly matched for size, with one pair smaller than the other by an even the larger vs. smaller of yours. Could hear no difference between left and right channels even after swapping channels.

Sold them over a decade ago as TESLA KT-88s were in some demand. Even those miss-matched for size.

First they came for the dumb-asses
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a dumb-ass
