Eli, you've recommended the Robinson Baxandall a number of times on these forums. I like it as well, and I'm planning to use it in the future. However, I modeled it in SPICE last year, and it does have one quirk that bothers me. Your post in the thread below reminded me of this. Specifically, the circuit appears to have a significant subsonic boost below 10 Hz, even when set flat. Below is the SPICE plot:
A simple modification can resolve this, as shown below:
Finally, here's the corrected plot. Note that I tweaked a few other areas to flatten the upper end slightly, but in practice, that probably won't be audible. These are tone controls after all, and they're meant to be switched out of the circuit when listening flat.
