You are correct. Thanks. New (old) Mullards are now in and I have my stereo back.
Those CJ Russian tubes sure lasted a long time (w/ no degradation that I notice, even compared to the ones that I just installed).
They had daily use for > 10 years. I estimate easily >> 10k hours.
The Brimar in my Anthem AMP 2 SE power amp input has gone about as long so far. Actually, I have switched that one once with its mate which just sits there with its heater in series.
