The picture on the US site shows it full of KT150s.

What is most likely happening is your voltage is too high on the heater. When they die, i will bet the heater is dying. This is pretty common on foreign made equipment where the 6.3 volt heater is likely actually producing over 7 volts. The higher draw KT150 will probably fix the problem, but you should have your amp looked at and set up with the voltage you have at your wall.
