In the stock Luxman 3045 the plates of the 8045G sat at 480 VDC and at a grid bias of -100 VDC, the idle current was 75 MA (neat the maximum rated plate disapation). A plate voltage of 550 and grid bias of -50 will destroy the tube in short order.
