"The RCA's are good tubes, but they are rolled off on both ends of the spectrum. What they do in between can be magical though. Acoustic, vocal, small ensemble stuff can be truly wonderful with the RCA's. So if that's the stuff you listen to they might be right for you. However, the '52's are all around superior tubes. Much deeper and tighter in the bass and a top end second only to the TS RP, and not by much."
Sounds like a load of old bollocks to me!
