I've been using EH tubes in this preamp pretty much since I got it. At around the same time I did buy a Gold Lion 6922. Put in in, never thought much about it and put it back in the box.

Well tonight I decided to give it a try. Holy CRAP! That's one GREAT tube! Big wide lush sound stage. It does have a more polite top end. NOT!!! rolled off but polite.

It was like plugging in an entirely new stereo.
