I'm using a Yamaha RX-A820 as a preamp. I have a Radio Craftsmen CA-11 Concerto (10w mono PP) I have used as a center channel in the past with an AVR that output 2v. Newer Yamahas output 1v. So the center is more than 10db below the other channels, plus plenty of hisssss on a Klipsch KG 2.2.
Any ideas on a line stage or even line driver? Decware makes a line stage for $649, but I'm not willing to spend that much.
It was refurbished by Don Allen, and it's a shame to have it sitting unused.
