Ahoy fellow inmates!
Just wanted to share this little guy I found in my collection. I pulled it from an old 400PS. It still has vacuum, but the poor thing is missing the guide pin and I wouldn't even trust it to test well.
Branded a 6550 with a hexagon on top, it also bears the 010309 designation on the base. I'm not sure if there was a material difference between the 010309 and 6550. I think it was just cherry-picking as STR's go.
That said, I never noticed the smooth black finish for the beam-forming plate. And the control grid rods are really thick, too.
