Not sure about the Pro7 as I've never laid hands on one, but a particular combo of 12AU and 12AX in my Classic CD player that I really like is an RFT 12AU7 and the JJ 5751. It's a very synergistic combo in at least some Primaluna gear. Buddy has the Dialogue 5 and it's a very good combo there too. Even better news is that they are fairly inexpensive too. Selected low noise/micrphonics RFT's are @ $35 each and the JJ 5751's are @ $20 each from Tube Depot.
