Sockets are not made to take repetitive tube rolling. They do wear out and loose their contact tension.

Socket savers may be an alternative, but only when the amp is new. Once they get worn it's too late.

Chances are, your amp uses board mounted sockets. You pretty much have to replace them with identical replacements. Other sockets may be better quality, but probably will not fit the board layout.
