These were fancy 12AT7s that's about all I heard. I had some, They were good but not fantastic tubes. When they came out in quantity, a few years ago, the tube buying public was advised by the tube know it alls, that there were not a good, as their GEC heritage suggested. I had a couple but can't seem to find them now.
I will let you in on a little secret now that I got a few pairs. The Madrid Philips tubes branded as Marconis made in the 1960s are really good IMHO. These are not RCAs relabeled like the Canadian tubes. No financial interest in this dealer etc. etc.
