Since you mentioned that you had your output tube go bad after a few months, that would indicate that the tube finally wore out. Your Dynaco is it stock? Often, Dynaco amps are modded and that can frequently reduce the lifespan of the tubes by running them harder. You would need to check the voltage at the plates of the el34 and also the bias voltage. Making the bias voltage more negative than the stock setting will be easier on the el34s but if you make it too cold the sound quality will deteriorate.
Certain brands of tubes also have poorer reliability than others. My favorite all around performer is the Siemens EL34 with dimple top. This is a tough tube that sounds just as good or as good as any Mullard , imo.
Also, you did not mention in your original post, if the problem occurs in the same socket? That would indicate that the bad socket has a problem maybe a leaky coupling capacitor. Any way, good luck, Dak
