Thanks for the responses. Looks like I have some reading to do.
I own the equivalent to the 6AQ5ss or it's type somewhere. I bought them in a lot of tubes. They have thick ceramic "micas" and thick glass, I was told I could build an amp with them as 6AQ5s, never tried.
The headphone people do indeed covet the 6080 and I am hoping to get some of those some day.
