I have used KR tubes for many years, types 300B, 300BXLS, 2A3 and 5U4G. They all are fine after many, many hours of use. I also have EML tubes and they are good too. There are, as always, a lot of unfounded rumors about manufacturers quality. Companies that have been in the business for many years tend to make good products or they get out i one way or another.
