I use tube depot out of TN, I wouldn't waste money looking for exotic tubes or used crap.

I am not a tube guy, I like the neutral sound of new Electro Harmonix. I have a DAC, Tube Buffer and Headphone hybrid all EH.

I appreciate the knowledge however.

It seems the tube in the Schiit does have somewhat some importance. It is not just for show, 60 volts on the plate.

Lol, a real tube amp would be good in this winter cold however.
