RE: VT 100 Mk II driver tubes

First off have you personally retubed the driver and input tubes in the ARC VT100 2 before?

If you have then you know each section of the 6922 tube must be closely matched as possible or you will find you will never be able to bias the driver tubes to spec. If biasing is not within ARC specs you could cause the driver tubes to short, and or, cause a 6550 tube/s to short out taking a screen resistor out or worse.

Bottom line each section of the 6922 must be closely match, and I do mean closely matched! This must be made 100% clear to any tube vendor when buying the tubes.

I have an ARC VT50 and even it is a pain if the 6922 input and driver tubes 2 sections are not closely match, and I mean closely matched.
Not only each pair of the 6922 for each channel must be matched, but even closer matching for the two sections of each tube.
