About 15 maybe 20 years ago I found a supplier that was unloading them for 20 bucks apiece. They were beautiful Tung Sol branded with gold pins. They are an extremely high quality tube, I wonder what it would cost to make something like that today?
I am thinking about making a KT88 SE amp with a 5687 driver tube where I can test the sound quality of the 5687 more easily. Cheers, Dak
