I was monitoring an auction for 6900 tubes on epay this past weekend and the end prices are pretty high. The good deal was a set of 4 for 1100.00! Individual tubes were going for 400. That is about an equivalent increase in price from the original price of a WE 300B to what it is now. The seller is going to have a very merry Christmas.
Funny thing in my MFA amp I preferred the sound of the Amperex 7119 to the Bendix 6900. cheers, Dak
