Tubes Asylum Questions about tubes and gear that glows. FAQ |
|
Not sure if there are any experts out these who can help me, but I just bought a pair of 6H30P-DR tubes from the trader section and now they have arrived I am suspicious of one of the tubes. Although the flaps are of an even color and no not at all shiny like the fakes shown on the ACA website info page, the flaps on one side do carry some machine markings (see picture). The flaps on the other side are perfect. This tube is supposed to be a 1977 NOS.
The seller has been very fair and has already refunded my money, but I thought I'd check here before I send them back.
Thanks very much for any help you can offer.
