RE: Audio Research 6H30 Tube Match V1 & V2 or V1 & V3 ?

I think it is intuive that you want the gain to be equal in the two channels. What would be the potential reason to match tubes within the same channel? Just wondering.
I think it also obvious that you the ARC's handbook for your pre amplifier for definitive advice.
