I am going to re-tube my Audio Research Ref 3 and CD 8 with 6H30's.

The left channel is tubes V1 and V3, right V2 and V4.
Using 4 matched pair tube sets:

Does the matched set go in V1 and V3 (within the same channel)
OR
do I put the matched set in V1 and V2 ? (across channels) ?
