Which tube position has most influence on sound,12AU7, 12AX7, or KT88?

Hello there everybody,

Sorry for the question, new to tubes and new here. Hope to enjoy and learn a lot joining the AA community.

I'm guessing the power output tubes--KT88 because last in the signal chain, but I've been reading a lot saying it's the preamp output tubes--12AX7s? Is this true? How about the splitter--12AU7s? What's their ranking based on sound influence (not power/gain)?
