RE: Rubber grommets

don't work for transformers as they are too soft. When the trans is tightened down the grommets get compressed and start to break apart. I tried them a long time ago and it really doesn't work. There are some grommets that are designed for vibration absorption which can withstand more compression than rubber. You can also try fiber or nylon washers but other than that the only real solution to excessive vibrating trans is to replace it. regards, Dak
