Tubes Asylum Questions about tubes and gear that glows. FAQ |
|
Hello!
I have two sets of tubes (reissue Tung-Sol 6L6G) that have been matched by plate current draw.
One set matches to 22 mA and the other set matches at 35 mA.
I am thinking that the 22 mA was too low and the feller at The Tube Store was thinking that the 35 mA was too high. (and that the sweet spot would be somewhere around 27-29 mA)
Is he right? What would be the optimum tube for the job?
Paul
