one thing I am trying to avoid is using any ground points in this amp except one, these Eico amps have open frame power transformers that leak emi all over the steel chassis setting up voltage differentials all over the chassis. That is one reason Eico amps have a fair amount of residual hum as Eico used multiple ground points rather than a single star-ground scheme which is preferable to solve the hum problem...
