DCG, knows what he is talking about but why take a chance? It is not hard to put another tie point on the chassis. If your tube socket has grounding lugs, you can snip off 2 lugs from a terminal strip and solder one of the lugs to the ground lug and use the other lug as a tie point. If you do it well it can look very neat. Just a thought, Dak
