The price spread you quoted on the Tube Depot 6550 is misleading. They indeed do sell them un-cryoed for $35 each, but the $130 price is for the fancy, super duper selected/tested/cryoed Black Sable brand. Not a fair compare IMO, and this should not be taken as any kind of comment by me as to the value of the Black Sable process. A more fair compare might be the cyroed JJ 6550's from Cyroset. They sell them for $85/matched pair. So a truer comparison would be $35 uncryoed and $42.50 cyroed (with matching fee). You are certainly entitled to your opinion as to the effectiveness of cryoing, but let's at least get the numbers straight.
