I can only hope that the Silly Season is slowly winding down as will the temps so that most of us can get back to listening to our tube gear without the fear of overloading the AC's or driving us outside.
Just play the damn thing. With any kind of music you wish for. The gear won't care. Speakers, however, may have a difference of opinion as well as your ears and anyone with you in the same acoustic envelope.
Cables, interconnects, DAC's, phone cartridges made by hand and blessed by Shinto priests. I once attended a blessing of the cassette decks out west. I am ashamed of this. My dog got to pee on a speaker. He had more fun than I did.
