HK Citation V output tubes

The standard output tube for the Citation V is the 7581. Same family as the 6L6GC, KT66 etc. I tried a set of KT66s in my Citation V. Sounds very good, but am concerned about the higher heater current draw of the KT66 vs. the 7581.
Wondering if anyone has experience with this, and what are your thoughts on the extra load on the power transformer on the CIT V.
